At Good Steward Lending Services, Inc. we strive to offer our Private Lenders the best loan management services so they can spend less time working on each deal, and more time making new ones. Our services include origination, loan processing, underwriting, loan document preparation, and construction loan management.

Loan Processing

Our loan processors complete a number of administrative tasks allowing the lender, loan originator, and executives more time to find and execute opportunities. The loan processors’ tasks include gathering required information based on the loan type, ordering appraisals, verifying income, pulling credit reports, ordering background checks on the borrower & related individuals, ordering title insurance, and being the liaison between the borrower, loan originators, & underwriters.

Loan underwriting is the heart of risk management. Our team has extensive experience underwriting a large variety of loan types. This includes all spectrums of single family investment properties, multifamily properties, commercial & industrial, multi-use land development, and specialty commercial.

We perform a detailed analysis drawing from multiple resources and experiences. Our underwriting doesn’t just stop with credit score, LTV and ARV; it goes in depth to include background checks on the borrower and other related parties that have an impact on the loan, an analysis of the property, borrower’s likelihood of filing bankruptcy, and other information as needed.

For loans that require construction, including major rehab and new construction, our Construction Loan Managers manage the construction loan from start to finish. This includes working with underwriting to analyze the scope of work, the experience of the borrower and contractors, overseeing the construction schedule, and even taking over a project if the borrower defaults.
